Our Origin and Purpose

LXD360 was founded by Dr. Phillip Bock and Erin Timmons to solve a challenge they encountered across decades in corporate learning: training wasn’t keeping pace with how people learn, or how work evolves. Together, they built LXD360 to integrate research-based instructional design with the latest in adaptive, immersive, and analytics-driven learning experiences..

Meet Our Founders

At the helm of LXD360 are two industry pioneers who bring together decades of instructional design, cognitive science, and educational technology leadership.

Dr. Phillip Bock, a service-disabled veteran and Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology, and Erin Timmons, a seasoned instructional strategist with extensive experience across corporate and academic settings, founded LXD360 with one shared belief: learning should be personalized, measurable, and tailored to how people learn.

Their vision fuels every solution we create, from immersive training modules to AI-enhanced learning ecosystems. Under their leadership, LXD360 doesn’t just follow trends. We set new standards for what learning can be.

A former U.S. Army Training Director and enterprise instructional leader for Amazon, Blue Origin, and Carley Corp, Dr. Bock brings over 15 years of expertise in instructional design, with a strong background in Neurolearning, AR/VR, analytics, and performance-driven learning ecosystems. He leads LXD360’s strategic vision, product innovation, and platform development.

With over 15 years of instructional design and education leadership, Erin leads the company’s immersive curriculum architecture, content strategy, and client success model. A former instructional designer at Carley Corp and district-wide learning leader in Texas schools, she brings deep expertise in learning design, compliance design, and remote team enablement.
